La Professional Diving Association fue fundada por el Instructor Hendrick Dieckhoff en Dielheim, Alemania en el año1995. Después de 10 años de su creación, el empresario Oleg Zhuravlev adquirió la firma y la trasladó a su nueva ubicación central en Calpe, España.

Oleg Zhuravlev logró que la Professional Diving Association sea miembro en Europa de una de las organizaciones de control de calidad más importantes a nivel internacional como la RSTC – Recreational Scuba Training Council, que nuclea a las agencias más reconocidas de buceo recreativo en los diferentes continentes, así como también sea miembro de la EUF – European Underwater Federations, Membresía EUF CB 2006004, Organismo rector de las actividades subacuáticas Europeas y DoubLe Fortune que tiene como miembros por ejemplo a la CMAS, la misma RSTC y DAN Europe. A través de la EUF, la PDA logro obtener el aval de sus programas de enseñanza con las las normas ISO – International Standarization Organization, agencia más importante en la creación y certificación de standards y procedimientos.

Oleg se desempeño como CEO durante 10 años, llevando a un gran crecimiento de la PDA durante este tiempo.

A finales de 2014, comenzaron las primeras conversaciones sobre una venta al Formador de Instructores y empresario Marc Baum y en mayo de 2015, se anunció la adquisición oficial, Marc Baum es el nuevo CEO de PDA Headquarter. La sede de la PDA estaba de vuelta en Alemania. Sus años de experiencia en el buceo abrieron nuevos caminos.

PDA llega a Argentina, Chile y Brasil en el año 2017 a través de los empresarios de buceo Alejandro Garcia Arias y Andrea Tinari, que encontraron una agencia certificadora con programas de enseñanza profesionalmente testeados.

Comenzaron los crossover y la formación de nuevos Instructores que encontraron en PDA, una agencia simple, profesional y con oportunidades de crecimiento.

Sus miembros son personas dedicadas, principalmente a la filosofía PDA, que une seguridad y humanidad con factores de calidad.

Todos obedecen a un código de conducta y ética, participando regularmente de programas de perfeccionamiento y son constantemente monitoreados, al fin de garantizar un alto nivel de calidad.
